This is so flavorful and creamy. Best served at room temperature. Good on bagel crisps.
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
½ Stick butter, room temperature
½ teaspoon Spice Islands Beau Monde seasoning
1 Clove Garlic -- minced
¼ teaspoon fine herbs
1 tablespoon fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried
1 teaspoon water
1 teaspoon wine vinegar
¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1. Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy; add remaining ingredients. Chill in a container, letting it mellow for at least 12 hours. Freezes well.
This works well with a slice of cocktail bread, cheese and thin slice or 2 of English cucumber. One recipe almost covers a loaf of cocktail bread (40 - 45 slices)
This also works well as Stuffed Mushrooms: a 1 tsp or so in a mushroom cap and bake at 350 for around 15 - 20 minutes. You can also finely chop the mushroom stems, add some plain dried bread crumbs to the mixture and use that for filling the mushrooms.
